“I am NOT a technician; I am a Dream Capturer”

I am an artist who came into the field of photography with sound educational background having obtained a four years Bachelor’s Degree in Image Arts (Photography, Cinema & Television) from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.

in the year 2009, I held my maiden solo photography exhibition with a collection of artistic pictures. I also hosted a group photography exhibition in 2010, capturing photos of fashions. I have worked as a director of photography in several short films, music videos, and commercials while engaging as a still photographer in many films and teledramas. I have worked as a Photojournalist at several national newspapers and I have won many accolades and awards for my photographs on national and international platforms.

In 2018, I started The Academy of Photography to share my knowledge and experience in photography with those who are interested in this field.

I have been a professional photographer for over ten years in Sri Lanka and I am currently living in Dubai.
